I am a graphic designer, art director and photographer with more than three decades of professional experience in visual communication.

I began working in graphic design in the mid-1990s, and over the years my work has expanded across visual identity, editorial and packaging design, advertising, web and UI/UX design, e-commerce, motion graphics, 3D visualisation and photography. I have worked both within agencies and independently, collaborating with clients ranging from commercial brands and media to cultural organisations, public institutions and local initiatives.

My professional experience includes art direction, concept development, campaign and packaging design, digital and HTML5 advertising, front-end design, photo production and post-production, as well as preparing projects from the initial idea through to final production. I have also collaborated with some of Croatia's leading advertising agencies, including Publicis, Señor and 404.

Despite working professionally in design for most of my life, I have always remained interested in experimentation and in areas where design overlaps with photography, technology and personal projects. This has led me into 3D modelling and printing, type design, infrared and full-spectrum photography, motion design and various experimental visual projects. One of my product design concepts — a mobile phone design — was published in New Product Design, part of the Design Cube Series by Zeixs.

Photography has gradually become an equally important part of my creative work. I am an award-winning photographer and one of the founders of Fotoklub Knin, where I have been involved in exhibitions, photography workshops, education and projects documenting the landscape, people and cultural heritage of the wider Knin region.

I am also the author and photographer of A Guide to Knin and Its Surroundings for Adventurers and Photographers (and Everyone Who Doesn't Feel Like One :) ), a photographic travel guide created through years of exploring the landscape around Knin and the wider region. The project combines photography, travel, local history and practical information, and has since been developed in several language editions.

Whether I am working on an identity, a book, a photograph, a typeface or a digital project, my approach is essentially the same: I am interested in ideas first. I believe good visual work should have a reason for looking the way it does — and that concept, function and personality are more important than simply following current trends.

After more than thirty years in the profession, I am still curious, still experimenting, and still enjoy the moment when an initially vague idea finally turns into something that works.
